Synopsis:
Suite Surrender, by Michael McKeever

In 1942 two of Hollywood’s biggest divas have been accidentally booked into the same hotel suite—at a luxurious Palm Beach resort. The two rival headliners have no idea that the other is only a door away and the hotel staff plan on keeping it that way at all costs. With assistants scrambling, bellhops scheming, and a harried hotel manager caught in the crossfire, chaos erupts as the rival stars are kept apart at all costs. Suite Surrender is a fast-paced farce, full of old-world glamour and nonstop laughs. A delightful homage to screwball comedy where the only thing louder than the headlines… is the drama.

It begins at night with the town asleep and dreaming, then follows the characters as they wake and go about their lives, blending the mundane with the magical, and ends as night falls again. The work is famous for its rich imagery, humor, and exploration of memory, love, and the human condition, and was first broadcast by the BBC in 1954. The show contains a variety of roles.
