More about HCT’s Mom's Gift – A year after her death, Mom suddenly reappears, as a ghost, with a mission she must complete in order to earn her wings. The only problem? She doesn’t know what that mission is, and the only person who can see or hear her is her tightly wound, emotionally guarded daughter, Kat. As buried secrets surface and long-standing tensions come to a head, the family is forced to confront the past in order to move forward.

The role of Kat is played by Rose Rodriguez, whose performance captures both the humor and heartbreak of a daughter struggling to hold it all together. Kady Douglas brings warmth, wit, and unmistakable charm to the role of Mom, anchoring the play with a performance that is as funny as it is deeply moving.
