More About The Addams Family – The princess of dark, Wednesday Addams, played by Natalie Price, has fallen in love with Lucas Beineke (Alex Dannels), a completely normal young man from a decidedly normal family. Suddenly, Wednesday finds herself ‘pulled in a new direction’ and longing for just ‘one normal night’ with the people she loves most. Gomez (Jules Feret) is caught in an impossible situation between lying to his captivatingly macabre wife, Morticia (Olivia Randall) or breaking a promise to his daughter. When the Addams invite Lucas and his parents to dinner, all of their long-dead ancestors join the fun as ever-present witnesses to the hijinks and mischief. Packed with kooky characters, spooky fun, memorable music, and plenty of laughs, The Addams Family proves that every family is strange—some are just better at embracing it

This production is a feast for the eyes. Makeup Designer Deborah Lynn Ruth and Costume Designer Michelle Brightman have created striking looks that bring these iconic characters to life. From the instantly recognizable Addams family members to the eclectic cast of Ancestors, audiences will feel as though their favorite characters have stepped right off the screen and onto the stage. Adding even more energy to the production is choreography by Olivia Randall. With tangos, twists, twirls, and lively ensemble numbers, the dancing brings an exciting visual element to the show and is sure to have audiences laughing, singing along, and bopping in their seats.

“It has been such a dream to bring The Addams Family to life,” says director and music director Sue Ann Culp. “This cast has poured their hearts into this production all summer, and their hard work really shows. The singing is absolutely fabulous, the choreography is energetic and fun, and these actors have embraced every wonderfully weird, outrageous moment of this show. There is so much talent, humor, and heart on this stage, and I think audiences are going to have an absolute blast watching it all come together. While The Addams Family features characters familiar to audiences of all ages, this production is not intended for young children. With mature innuendo, dark humor, and plenty of adult comedy, the show is best suited for mature audiences and is comparable to a PG-13 film. It is the perfect choice for a date night, or an evening out with friends.
